Living in 3D Power Podcast
About the Podcast
Discover your truth, discern your path, and determine your future to transform your life and leadership through the power of liberatory questions.
Living in 3D Power is an intergenerational podcast where storytelling meets soul work. Hosted by school psychologist and adult educator, Dr. Amber Sessoms, and her 10-year-old daughter, Emma, this series creates space for brave, joyful conversations rooted in Amber’s 3D Power Tools Framework: Discovery, Discernment, and Determination.
Each episode is an invitation to slow down, listen closely, and imagine more. From navigating identity and family dynamics to asking big questions about justice, power, and possibility, Amber and Emma model what it means to live with emotional integrity and curiosity in a world that often demands we disconnect from ourselves.
This isn’t just a podcast. It’s a practice in liberation. A space where parenting becomes praxis, where children’s voices are not just included, but centered, and where we remember that the journey to liberation is both personal and collective.
Here’s how each episode unfolds:
-
We start by diving into the weekly questions Amber poses on social media: the Curiosity Cards. These questions are intentionally crafted to guide us through the three phases of the 3D Power Tools Framework: Discovery, Discernment, and Determination.
Amber will reflect on how these questions have shaped her own journey and why she is posing them for that week. This segment invites you to reflect on your own values, strengths, and needs as you navigate your path.
-
Amber will be joined by her 10-year-old daughter, Emma, for a heartwarming and insightful segment. Emma offers her perspective, reminding us of the joy, wisdom, and unfiltered truth that come from sitting with our youth.
Her reflections bring a fresh and playful lens to life’s big questions, bridging the gap between adult complexities and childlike curiosity.
-
We close with practical steps inspired by Emma’s answers. These takeaways are designed to help you apply the insights from our conversation to your life, leadership, and community.
